これはモビールの様なバランスで成立するペンダントライトです。 冷ややかな印象のパイプ製本体の先端に、物体を滑り落ちて溜まった雫を模した造形が発光します。 水蒸気が凝結し、一時的に可視化される限定的な条件であるDew Pointをテーマに据えた照明器具です。 特に私は、朝露が朝日の光を蓄える器になる様な現象の美しさに心を惹かれています。
DPという名はDew Pointの頭文字です。この展示会では3個吊りのタイプとして ［DP-3］を披露します。 この浮遊しているような軽やかさを持ち合わせる照明器具は、1個のみでの使用もできます。 複数個吊り形式との相性もよく、空間に印象的な光景作り出します。
This is a pendant light that is balanced like a mobile. At the tip of the cool looking pipe body, a shape representing a drop that slides down an object and accumulates on the surface emits light. This lighting fixture focuses on the theme of Dew Point, a limited condition in which water vapor condenses and is temporarily visible. I am particularly fascinated by the beauty of the phenomenon in which morning dew becomes a vessel for storing the light of the morning sun. This light fixture, which has the lightness of floating, can also be used alone. It is also compatible with multiple hangings, creating an impressive scene in a space. In this exhibition, DP-3 will be presented as a three-piece hanging type.
