Design plan for a bar on the border between a shopping street and a residential area, aimed at people living in the neighborhood. I aimed for an unexpectedness that stands out in the harmonious street. The folded ceiling is all in yellow, including piping and equipment. The volume is like a yellow light box floating on the ceiling, and as a symbol of the bar, it illuminates the space and creates an impression of the interior. The visual weight of the space is balanced by the scattering of reflective materials such as brass. The smoked glass facade hides the interior before opening, and at sunset, the brightness of the interior and exterior is reversed, allowing the lighting to penetrate to the outside. The bar is set up in such a way that it appears when the shopping district calms down.
